440V LV Circuit Breakers Digital Trigger Block
The digital trigger block provides protection for three transformer sizes (50 kVA, 100 kVA, and 160 kVA) on the pole, whether conventional transformers (without internal protection) or new transformers with protection (TPC). A selector allows selection of the transformer's protection rating. A microcontroller assesses the transformer's assumed temperature in real time based on the currents on all three phases and the ambient temperature. The latter is calculated as a function of the three-phase current using the probes and a mathematical model.
If the trigger block is integrated in an older generator-type circuit breaker, the load integration function (if present) will be disabled.
