Vziman Digital Switchgear Powers World's Largest Caprolactam Plant

Recently, Vziman Electric Power Technology Co., Ltd. conducted a follow-up visit to a petrochemical company, where its supplied digital medium-voltage switchgear products and services received high praise from customers. In May, the Line B of the esterification method cyclohexanone unit at a petrochemical company's 600,000-ton annual caprolactam industrial chain relocation and upgrade transformation project was successfully started up on the first attempt, stably supplying 20 tons of high-quality cyclohexanone raw material per hour to downstream facilities. With this achievement, all 17 newly built main production units of the project have been successfully commissioned on their first attempts, marking the full operation of the world's largest single-capacity and technologically advanced caprolactam production and R&D base.

Caprolactam is an important organic chemical raw material widely used in degradable films, medical devices, high-end clothing, automobile wheel hubs, and other fields. This project relocated the petrochemical company's entire caprolactam industrial chain to a green chemical industry high-tech zone located 3.1 kilometers from the Yangtze River shoreline. The project encompasses the complete industrial chain from coal-to-hydrogen to polyamide, with caprolactam annual production capacity increased from 300,000 tons to 600,000 tons. Constructed according to "5G smart factory" standards, the project achieves an equipment localization rate of 99.9%.
