Oil-Immersed distribution Transformer Product Introduction
This 125 KVA Three phase distribution Transformer is a high-performance Oil-Immersed distribution Transformer delivered to Zambia in 2003, with a rated capacity of 125 KVA, 11kV primary voltage and 0.55kV secondary voltage, perfectly adapting to the local medium and low-voltage power distribution demand. The core of this Oil-Immersed distribution Transformer adopts a 45° miter joint and step overlapping structure, which can effectively reduce no-load loss and no-load current, greatly improving the energy efficiency of the Three phase distribution Transformer. Engineered with advanced technology and high-quality raw materials and components, this Oil-Immersed distribution Transformer features reliable product quality and long-term stable operation, and the Three phase distribution Transformer’s optimized structural design further ensures balanced power output and stable performance. Vziman implements strict full acceptance testing for every delivered equipment, and has maintained a 0 fault rate record for more than 10 years; our Oil-Immersed distribution Transformer is fully designed and manufactured in accordance with IEC, ANSI and other major international standards, and each Three phase distribution Transformer meets the technical specifications of global power grid applications.

The functions of transformer oil
Functions of Transformer Oil Electrical Insulation The main function of insulating oil in a transformer is to provide electrical insulation between the various energized parts; it also acts as a protective coating layer to prevent oxidation of the metal surfaces. Heat Dissipation Another important function of the oil is to enhance heat dissipation. Transformer cores and windings get heated up during operation due to various power losses. Oil takes heat away from the core and windings by the process of conduction and carries heat to the surrounding tank, which is then radiated out to the atmosphere. Viscosity, pour point, and flash point need to be maintained.

Transformer maintenance
At a minimum, monthly visual inspection of all bushings and other penetrations for oil leaks (pressure taps, sample taps, etc.) and oil level. Twice annual inspection of cooling fans to ensure they are working properly. At least annual oil testing and analysis to monitor the condition of the transformer, also annual testing of protective devices such as temperature relays, pressure switches, etc. Clean the top of the transformer and the primary bushings.
